Indigenous Programs

Journey to St. Eugene to uncover indigenous history in a setting unlike any other in Canada. Reclaimed and proudly owned by the Ktunaxa Nation, our resort offers groups and individuals a chance to enjoy the region’s beauty as well as an opportunity to learn about indigenous culture and history.

Located just 5 minutes from the Canadian Rockies International airport and with flights arriving daily, St. Eugene offers groups a unique environment for conferences, training and education.

Tour of the Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre

Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre

Open weekdays and located in the Mission Building, our Interpretive Centre displays historical photographs, cultural artifacts and contemporary art. The Centre is run by the Ktunaxa Nation Council and also offers guided tours of both the centre and the building.

Indigenous Culture Awareness Training Session

Indigenous Culture Awareness Training

Our hands-on training program gives groups an opportunity to learn from Ktunaxa Elders and knowledge keepers about past, present and future issues related to First Nations. Participants learn about how to engage meaningfully and respectfully with First Nation members as well as being an advocate for indigenous rights and values in society and business. From tipi-raising team-building exercises to traditional games and craft classes, programs can be customized to fit the group's needs.
