PGA of Canada has announced the dates and host venues for three of its national championships in 2026 with the flagship event, the PGA Championship of Canada, set to be held at St. Eugene Resort August 4–6.
The championship brings together some of the country’s most accomplished club professionals from across the country, showcasing elite playing ability from the very professionals who teach, mentor, and grow the game in their home facilities year-round. Organized under the banner of the PGA of Canada, this tournament highlights the competitive side of Canada’s golf professionals—many of whom balance their playing careers with their various roles at clubs throughout the country.
“We’re proud to welcome these outstanding professionals to St. Eugene,” said Michael Pearson, Head Professional at St. Eugene Golf Resort. “This championship field features outstanding PGA of Canada professionals, and we’re excited for the community to see them compete on our course.”
The tournament will test players across St. Eugene’s challenging layout with spectacular mountain views. Volunteer opportunities will be available as the tournament approaches, if you are interested in assisting throughout the event, please contact Michael at .
Unlike touring professionals who compete full-time on international circuits, PGA of Canada professionals serve as the backbone of the Canadian golf industry—developing players, managing facilities, and growing participation in the sport nationwide. This event offers a rare opportunity to see these accomplished professionals compete against their peers in a championship setting.
Championship registration will open on April 1. Stay tuned for more details or visit PGA of Canada website.
