Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre
Operated by the Ktunaxa Nation Council, the Interpretive Centre is where the Ktunaxa people come together to give visitors a taste of their rich heritage, mythology and culture.
Guests are welcome to stop by to view the many historic artifacts, contemporary art, archival photographs and displays containing examples of traditional stone, bead, hide, and wood and cloth work. Learn about the everyday life of the Ktunaxa, and discover the renowned horsemanship and canoe-making of these unique and resourceful people.
The Interpretive Centre offers regular tours Monday thru Friday:
Morning Tour: 9:00am – 10:30am
Afternoon Tour: 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Each tour is 1 hour and 30 minutes and consists of 3 sections:
- Interpretive Centre Tour – 30 mins
- Movie Presentation Red Brick School – 28 mins
An emotional documentary containing the personal stories of Ktunaxa students who were forced to leave their families and attend the church-run Residential School.
- Guided St. Eugene Mission Building Tour – 30 mins

- $20 – Full Tour
- $10 – Movie Presentation
- $10 – Ktunaxa Interpretive Centre Tour
- $10 – St. Eugene Mission Building Tour
