The Casino of the Rockies at St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino recently made a $2983.85 ‘Found Money Donation’ to the Salvation Army in Cranbrook, BC.
The Casino awards the donation 4 times annually to a local charity or organization. So what exactly is ‘Found Money”? Well, it is comprised of any monies left behind by casino patrons, such as the few cents that are left over when you cash out a slot machine ticket. These nickels and dimes truly add up over time, enabling the Casino to make a substantial quarterly donation.
Captain Kirk of the local Salvation Army was on hand to accept the donation.
