Every season brings with it a unique colour palette and its own unique flavour. As the shades of Summer slide towards Autumn, the setting for a rustic, vintage or outdoor wedding abound at St. Eugene. And just because you’re getting married in the Autumn months doesn’t mean that you have to use pumpkins as centerpieces or put orange foliage in your bouquet! On the contrary, your Fall wedding decorations should be a fun representation of your personal style. Gold, bronze, topaz, reds and deep orange prevail at our property throughout the Autumn months, and in addition, the rich blue hues of the Purcell & Rocky mountains offset the vibrant foliage beautifully. The weather is cooler, allowing for a more comfortable stay for the wedding attendees that do not enjoy the hot sun, and the trees, shrubbery and Engleman Ivy that adorn and surround the Mission Building are in all of their glory. St. Eugene is a short 10 minute drive from the Kootenay Rockies International Airport and we offer free shuttle service to and from the airport for all of your wedding guests. Our Resort Chef’s are able create an Autumn feast, by choosing local, fresh and seasonal meats and vegetables fresh from harvest.
The Joseph Creek Pavilion is available for rental up until the end of October, comfortably seating up to 225 guests for your dinner and reception. Alternately, the Chief David Room seats up to 72 guests and provides spectacular views of the golf course also in its autumn finery. Photo opportunities abound throughout the resort, and many a photographer has used the hues of Autumn to create some breathtaking memories.
