1. Casino Guest Services Representative - Part Time

                    

 Job Purpose:

The Guest Services Representative works to ensure all St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino customers receive the utmost in excellent customer service by greeting and addressing any questions, comments, or concerns of the customer including assisting the guest services supervisor/Manager with customer correspondence. This position is responsible for performing basic office functions such as;  answering interoffice, local and long distance calls in a courteous manner;  answering customer inquiries with respect and courtesy and direct calls to appropriate personnel and departments;  making various promotional announcements using a public address system;  responsible for processing Player’s Club applications accurately and entering Player’s Club information into the computer accurately and in a timely manner;  explains Player’s Club rules, policies, promotions and special events to customers; be able to prepare written reports on incidents or discrepancies;  handle all information acquired with a high level of confidentiality; reception and shipping and receiving packages; ensure that policies and procedures are followed for jack pot winners;  responsible for all administration and preparation of the Casino portion of bus tours; ensures that the Shuttle Bus Driver keeps to the shuttle schedule as well as informing them of any special stops;  Carry out other duties as assigned by the Guest Services Supervisor.

 

Qualifications

Candidates must have Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of related experience, education and/or training. The successful candidate will have experience providing excellent customer service in person and over the telephone and recent experience handling and balancing cash or monetary transactions. Preference may be given to candidates who possess data entry experience. Must be 19 years of age in order to work in the Casino.

  • Knowledge of functions and promotions of the St. Eugene Golf, Resort & Casino and Surrounding area.

 

Conditions of Employment

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work late night shifts, weekend, as well as federal and civic holidays. Must apply for, receive and maintain a Gaming License from GPEB. Will require or need to obtain a Serving it Right Certificate. Must be physically able to lift light objects (tools and equipment are available for heavier loads).

2. Data Coordinator - Excel Super user

  • Are you a Excel super user?
  • Have you worked in a business environment using Excel on a daily basis?
  • Have you been involved analyzing data in a business environment?
  • Does interpreting numbers and data excite you?
  • Are you always looking at ways to compare data?

 

Then you will enjoy working at the St. Eugene Resort as a Data Coordinator.

St. Eugene Resort is a renowned luxury resort, located in Cranbrook, B.C. featuring 125 room hotel, 18 hole championship golf course and a full service Casino.

Your responsibilities will be creating in Excel an analysis of data from the resort’s Casino and Hotel main computer systems.

You will require knowledge of importing data into Excel, interlinking Workbooks and Worksheets, creating complex formulas to compare current, historical, future data, designing graphs and using simple macros.

An understanding of business related data analysis is preferred.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years in a business office environment using Excel on the daily basis..
